The deeply held belief of Integrative Nutrition founder Joshua Rosenthal in holistic health and wellness has evolved into a mutual passion for thousands of his students like Raven Zaal. Joshua Rosenthal has amassed over 30 years of health and wellness experience since achieving his Masters of Science in Education, and it is from this wealth of experiences that the concept of the Health Coach has arisen. Rosenthal had long experimented with personal changes to his diet and lifestyle, which led him to conclude that food changes everything. Rosenthal determined to spread this message through a new institution, his very own Institute for Integrative Nutrition founded 25 years before in a rented kitchen in New York City.
Raven Zaal is beautifully, passionately adherent to the core values of the Integrative Nutrition philosophy, which calls for each believer to be a proponent of positive change. The IIN also encourages its devotees to follow their hearts as they do what they love, and to set an example by their own commitment to growth and development. Integrative Nutrition graduates like Raven Zaal joyfully promote the right to live with the freedom to choose what is individually best, and enter into a covenant to support each other in the movement to better global health. Raven Zaal delights in each new discovery of learning, while she encourages others to find balance in their lives through simple living and philosophies. The Institute of Integrative Nutrition trains each Health Coach holistically, meaning that Coaches take an integrative approach which deals with all aspects of the client’s spiritual, dietary, nutritional and activity lives.
In addition, Raven Zaal has recently started practicing ButiYoga and Meditation to help with anxiety. She has discovered the practice very helpful in her efforts to become more mindful, focused and rejuvenated throughout the day.
